⁴² Solomon ruled in Jerusalem over all Israel for forty years. ⁴³ Then he ·died [^Llay down/^Tslept with his fathers/ancestors] and was buried in the City of David [^CJerusalem], his father. And his son Rehoboam ·became king [reigned] in his place.
